Paulownia is a lightweight, fast-growing, and highly renewable wood, known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and natural resistance to water and salt — one of the most eco-friendly materials used in surfboard manufacturing.

Used on our Longboards, Retro Twin Fin, and Mid MT models, each board features a core fully wrapped in Paulownia wood, laminated with epoxy, resulting in a natural and timeless look inspired by the most authentic retro surfboards. Beyond aesthetics, this construction delivers controlled flex, great durability, and a smooth, connected feeling on the wave.

Paulownia reduces the need for synthetic materials and supports a more sustainable surf industry — where performance meets environmental responsibility.
